The Tsingy of Bemaraha are located near the small town of Bekopaka, in the region of Melaky, 210 km north of Morondava. It is accessible from the end of March to November (dry season), but still not easy to access, because of very difficult roads.

The Tsingy de Bemaraha formation dates back to the separation of the island of Madagascar from the continent Gondwana, 160 million years ago. This tectonic slide had caused a gigantic limestone plate to rise. The Tsingy are these immense limestone massifs with impressive looks that attract many tourists.

Day 1: Welcome to Antananarivo

Transfer by car after the reception at the airport of Ivato. A little rest after a long journey from your country of origin. Welcome to Madagascar. A multifaceted Island, a red island with its smiling, courageous and generous populations

Day 2: Antananarivo – Antsirabe

After a visit to the political and administrative capital of Madagascar, we will continue to travel to the city of Antsirabe or the city of rickshaw. During the journey of about 170 km, many varieties of living species will be observed whether animals or plants. Offering beautiful views, especially hills, rice fields and several villages. Discovering the workshops of pots, which is a famous activity organized by friendly local families to know the Malagasy meal.

Day 3: Antsirabe – Miandrivazo        

After experimenting in the glacial central highlands. Early morning departure, for a change of a new tropical environment. Passing on the low plains of Menabe with a diversity of landscapes. To see the multiplicity of fauna and flora having a harmonious connection that unites the highlands as well as the lowlands of Madagascar. Particularly, it is a charming opportunity to see the savannah landscapes as well as rock formations.   

Day 3: Miandrivazo – Morondava                                                                  

After a long journey, the Madagascar coastal region is known as the town of Morondava. We will make your stay very memorable by going to admire the golden sunset. One of the most famous natural attractions that attracts many tourists to Madagascar. Because of its size and its very incredible shape. Enjoying a phenomenal moment with an enthusiasm overflowing by an idyllic ride in a cart during the discovery of the paths of baobabs.

Day 4: Morondava – Bekopaka

A little trip for an outdoor adventure to take the direction towards the Tsingy de bemaraha which is so popular in Madagascar by its richness in biodiversity. A national park known for the existence of the gorges of the Manambolo river, having a nature blessed by the presence of various endemic species of our island as lemurs, chameleons, birds and others. With a hike on different trails such as the river trail, the baobab forest trail

Day 5: Climbing the great Tsingy in Madagascar

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit of the great tsingy trail in bemaraha. With a walk in nature more steep by walking through the limestone formations of the park.  By observing many species of terrestrial and aquatic animals such as reptiles like lizards, the endemic parson chameleon; mammals like tenrecs, bats; amphibians and fish. Especially, this park is distinguished by its spectacular karst peaks and limestone mazes.

Day 6: Climbing the little Tsingy in Madagascar

A less hectic day than the previous day by a discovery of a park that is full of biodiversity of flora, having a diversity of plants, trees harmonized to life in dry and limestone situations. Containing xerophyte plants, and characteristic species found therein.

Dinner and overnight at hotel.   

Day 7: Bekopaka – Morondava

Taking the road to Morondava, it would be boring to go this long way without doing anything. Then, activities will be done during this trip. Listen to traditional Malagasy music, make several stops so you can take pictures of each variation of the landscapes and make small meetings with the Malagasy villagers.

Day 8: Morondava

After breakfast, it was time to enjoy the most fabulous little moment, to enjoy the most beautiful beach with golden and fine sands of Morondava. Offering a wonderful beach and an opening to the Indian Ocean. With the aim of relaxing a little, doing different activities like, water sports, canoeing and many other activities to do.

Day 9: Morondava – Antsirabe

A route by car so you have time to contemplate the natural perfection during the trip. 

Day 10: Antsirabe – Antananarivo

Transfer by car to reach the capital of Madagascar. In the afternoon, take a city tour visiting the memorable site of Rova d’Antananarivo and the analakely craft markets to buy local products keeping them as the most beautiful memories
