Day 1: Arrival at Ivato Airport, Antananarivo

Upon arrival at Ivato International Airport in Antananarivo, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Take the evening to relax and recover from your journey. Antananarivo, located in the highlands, is known for its cooler climate, especially at night.

Day 2: Antananarivo – Andasibe

This day marks the beginning of your journey to the east! Drive 140 km along the National Route 2 to reach Andasibe, a village known for its rich biodiversity and proximity to nature reserves. Along the way, enjoy the scenic views of rice paddies, highland houses, and lush green landscapes.

  • Stop at Peyrieras Reserve: Located 75 km from the capital, this reserve is home to a variety of reptiles, including Madagascar’s famed chameleons, geckos, and amphibians.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Andasibe.

Day 3: Andasibe – Analamazaotra National Park

Explore the extraordinary wildlife of Analamazaotra National Park, where you can spot Madagascar’s largest diurnal lemur, the Indri Indri. This forest reserve is teeming with unique species of flora and fauna, offering visitors an intimate look at Madagascar’s remarkable biodiversity.

Day 5: Toamasina – Île aux Prunes

Set out for a day of adventure to Île aux Prunes, a small island located 17 km from the port of Toamasina. This island is not only beautiful but also rich in wildlife.
