Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo
Welcome to Madagascar! The Zamilane Tour team warmly greets you with a traditional “Tongasoa eh!” Overnight at Chat’o Parc Hotel.

Day 2: Antananarivo – Antsirabe
Before leaving Antananarivo, enjoy a brief overview of the city, Madagascar’s political and economic capital. On the road to Antsirabe along RN7, admire the beautiful scenery—red-hued houses, rivers, and rice paddies. Several stops will highlight local craftsmanship. Overnight at Couleur Café Hotel.

Day 3: Antsirabe – Ranomafana
Known as the “City of Water” due to its thermal springs, Antsirabe offers a cooler climate. Depart for Ranomafana, stopping in Ambositra, famous for wood carvings. After lunch in Ambositra, continue to Ranomafana, enjoying the changing landscapes. Overnight at Centr’Est Hotel.

Day 4: Ranomafana – Sahambavy
Ranomafana National Park is home to unique wildlife, offering a verdant, peaceful atmosphere. After exploring the park, head to Sahambavy, home to Madagascar’s only tea plantation. Visit the factory and plantation. Overnight at Lac Hôtel.

Day 5: Sahambavy – Fianarantsoa – Tsaranoro Valley
Continue southwest to the Tsaranoro Valley, situated at the base of the Andringitra massif. This area is ideal for hiking and rock climbing. Overnight at Camp Catta Hotel.

Day 6: Tsaranoro Valley – Discover the Ring-Tailed Lemur
Explore the stunning Tsaranoro Valley, including a hike to the Chameleon Peak (1,600 meters). You’ll encounter several ring-tailed lemurs in the valley’s forests. Overnight at Camp Catta Hotel.

Day 7: Tsaranoro Valley – Isalo National Park
Depart the valley for Isalo National Park, home to many succulent plants like kalanchoes. Overnight at H1 Hotel.

Day 8: Isalo National Park
Bring your sunglasses and sunscreen! Enjoy a day exploring Isalo’s rock formations, ring-tailed lemurs, panoramic views, and natural swimming pools. Overnight at H1 Hotel.

Day 9: Isalo – Tuléar – Ifaty
Travel 250 km to reach Ifaty, with activities en route like visiting a rum distillery or Mahafaly tombs. Visit the Reniala Reserve to see various baobab species. Overnight at Bamboo Club Hotel.

Day 10: Ifaty – Sea Excursion
Relax on the pristine Ifaty beach, sheltered by a coral reef. Snorkel to explore the rich marine life in the turquoise waters. Overnight at Bamboo Club Hotel.

Day 11: Ifaty – Tuléar – Antananarivo
Transfer to the airport for the flight back to Antananarivo. Overnight at Chat’o Parc Hotel.

Day 12: Antananarivo City Tour
Morning city tour of Antananarivo, followed by an afternoon visit to the artisanal market. End of services.
