Do not miss a visit to Ankanin’ny Nofy on the Pangalanes In Toamasina
Ankanin’ny Nofy Pangalane: the Dream Nest

Among the destinations not to be missed is the Pangalanes Canal, an artificial waterway connecting the lagoons and lakes from Toamasina to Mananjary. A journey along this canal offers you the opportunity to discover local culture, observe endemic wildlife, and above all, admire landscapes of exceptional beauty.
The people living along the canal are mainly fishermen, but they also practice farming and livestock breeding. For an even more authentic experience, spending a night with a local family is an excellent way to get a deeper insight into our culture.
